JAYNE REICH’S kiln-fired sculptures are one-of-a-kind figures, female and male nudes. They have a painted, stone-like surface. Her sculptures have been in important national and international exhibits. She has been juried in for the 2017 International Florence Biennale. A retrospective of her works is exhibiting currently at Chapman University, installed into the Alcove of the World Renown Scientist, Yakir Aharonov, winner of the National Medal of Science presented at the White House by President Barak Obama.
“My drawings represent an instantaneous aliveness of an Infinite freedom. A living eternity of love. They are Meta representation of The Human Figure, created with pastel, oil, and semiprecious gems on canvas. The black background is inspired by my artist in residence with the Institute for Quantum Studies at Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, Canada. It represents the chalk board that physicists use to notate their discoveries using mathematical equations”
